Good luck with the upgrade thing.

Would it be obnoxious if I said "I told you so" about the PC vs Mac? ;)

You know I'm a Mac fan, so just sayin'.

WalMart did eventually back down on the lawsuit, but I won't shop there if I can help it for a whole host of reasons.

There are plenty of others like them, of course.

"Right now I lean toward Hillary. We NEED single payer health care in America at least for the poor, and middle class. How silly not to have that as an option."

Indeed. Every developed nation in the world has some kind of national health service. None of them is perfect, but they guarantee that everyone can get the acute care they need, prevention when necessary, and medication for pre-existing conditions. The way our system works, to treat access to health care like the sale of widgets, subject to the vagaries of the stock market (and the greed of people who make their money denying people's insurance claims to increase profits) is a major FAILURE.

To be sure, none but Kucinich (I think) actually called for a single-payer system such as they have in France or England or Canada. But, Hillary's plan is the only one of the three candidates still in the race that calls for at least universal coverage.

I guess the Insurance lobby is too strong to cut them off at the knees right now, but I'm constantly baffled by how many so-called progressives who support Obama criticize Hillary's plan because it requires universal coverage. As if that's a bad thing. Why?

And the bigger issue is how frustrating it is that real ISSUES get short shrift in the Media spinsanity about sniper fire and flag pins.

I'm a big fan of commercial art. Some commercials are iconic. That being said, so much of the advertising text is puffery and nonsense. But the pictures are purty. So, so purty.

I won't tell Pop ya said so... ;) I agree by the way, and you know I was raised in organized religion.

p.s. This post was very evocative. I can see the pictures and smell the smells in my own mind.
